What is Botox/Dysport
It is a medication known as a neuromodulator. Botox has been used for cosmetic purposes for more than twenty years with a very high safety profile. How does
it work?
Neuromodulators are also known as neurotoxins. They work by changing the way nerves and muscles communicate. Don’t let the word toxin scare you! As a medication, it is extremely safe, and cosmetically it is used in very small doses. It works by relaxing facial muscles that causes excessive animation of the face. Excessive animation of the face leads to wrinkles that eventually overtime becomes permanent markings on our face.

What to
expect?
We will start every appointment by taking ‘before’ photos of the areas being treated. You and our nurse will then discuss the concerns or enhancements you have in mind along with costs. Treatment will be explained along with side effects and contraindications prior to the injection. The actual treatment time is anywhere from 15-60 minutes depending on the desired areas to be treated. The appointment will end with after care education and ‘after’ photos for your profile. Follow up phone calls will be made roughly 3 days after your appointment to ensure you are satisfied with your results. Forehead Lines: As we raise our eyebrows, horizontal lines appear across the forehead. As these lines become permanently etched, they age us in appearance.
Crow’s Feet: Creases that appear at the outer corners of our eyes when we smile and squint tend to deepen and lengthen as we age. These can easily be relaxed.
